At Cadena, we have defined Transformation as our sustainability model. As pioneers in creating and generating shared value, we drive innovation and strengthen the business ecosystem with a significant impact.

Sustainability

Our sustainability model is based on the management and monitoring of six key material issues and four additional important issues that frame our actions and impact Cadena's economic, environmental, and social results. We have been prioritizing these since 2015 through a materiality assessment, which has allowed us to understand, through dialogues with some strategic area executives and secondary information from stakeholder groups, their perspectives and expectations regarding issue management. Working with this model helps us develop plans and tools to ensure Cadena's longevity and sustainability, contributing to our transformation and quest for significance.

Juan del Corral Foundation

In our sustainability model, we develop new supply and service alternatives to drive innovation, reduce costs through product or service efficiency, and manage associated risks.

At Cadena, we align our needs regarding compliance, quality, costs, and service.

Through social management, we have defined three areas of focus

Education for Transformation

In collaboration with SENA, we have designed special programs to enable young people from municipalities and communities in Western Antioquia to study Software Programming and Development. We also offer employment opportunities at Cadena, ensuring they can apply their knowledge and experience professional and personal growth.

Culture for Transformation

Cadena is the main sponsor of the Juan del Corral Museum Foundation in Santa Fe de Antioquia. This museum is a valuable custodian of Colombia's historical and cultural heritage and has become a driver of development and identity in the region. With over 45,000 visitors per year, the museum offers permanent and temporary exhibitions in collaboration with Iberacademy.

Sustainable Development for Transformation

Through our president Juan Manuel del Corral, we actively participate in ProOccidente, a corporation that brings together business leaders to help plan and promote Western Antioquia, attracting public and private investment to drive development in this strategic area of the department.
